Abstrakt
A variety of pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) can simultaneously detect pathogens and trigger a broad spectrum of innate immune responses. Recent studies have increasingly highlighted the complex interplay between Toll-like receptors (TLRs) and the cGAS-STING pathway. To gain a deeper understanding of the molecular mechanisms by which viruses activate and manipulate these pathways, we study innate immune responses to polyomaviruses (PyVs) in our laboratory.
