Abstract
The spread of carbapenemase-producing bacteria into clinical settings has dramatically worsen the public health situation. But, also, the isolation of such organisms from samples of environmental and wildlife origin has highlighted the need for One Health approach. Therefore, the aim of the current study was to evaluate the presence of carbapenemase-producing bacteria into waste-waters samples from the University Hospital of Larissa (UHL), which is a 650-bed tertiary care hospital in Thessaly (Central Greece).
